Application Instructions
The application for the 2021-2022 school year is now open.
For current scholars, the renewal application will be available this Spring.
Qualifications
Applicants from Massachusetts must:
- be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident of Massachusetts
- have a private, competitive college in Massachusetts among your top four college choices
- have someone in your life who you consider a mentor
- have a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $125,000 or less and/or an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $25,000 or less
- have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (unweighted)
- be among the first generation in your immediate family to complete a 4-year college/university degree
Applicants from Georgetown County South Carolina must:
- be a U.S. citizen and permanent resident of Georgetown County South Carolina
- have a private or public college in South Carolina among your top four college choices
- have someone in your life who you consider a mentor
- have a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $80,000 or less and/or an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $15,000 or less
- have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (unweighted)
- be among the first generation in your immediate family to complete a 4-year college/university degree

- Mentor Letter of Recommendation

- Pages 1 and 2 of parent/guardian(s)' most recent IRS 1040 Fax Forms
