Dominique Maffei provides strategic, operational, and programmatic support for various TPI clients, with a focus on families and independent foundations. She manages client relationships, oversees grantmaking activities for a number of family foundations, and conducts research on philanthropic trends and best practices. She has experience working across TPI’s client base, including family, independent, and corporate foundations; and has successfully led strategic planning processes for all. Dominique also has expertise in public health issues, global philanthropy, and organizational financial analysis.
Prior to joining TPI, Dominique implemented and managed community development and human rights programs for national and international non-governmental organizations. Dominique’s past work has focused on a variety of topics including: best practices in international maternal and infant health care; youth development and social entrepreneurship initiatives in North Africa; and student-led activism combating racial and religious prejudice in the United States. Dominique received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Master of Science in Global Health from The University of Manchester.
