Laura Hechtman supports TPI staff and clients by assisting with program management, research, and administrative functions on a variety of ongoing projects.
Prior to joining TPI, Laura worked at Wayside Youth & Family Support Network, a nonprofit that offers mental health counseling and support services to youth, young adults, and families throughout Massachusetts. As a part of Wayside’s In-Home Therapy team, Laura provided wraparound mentoring and stabilization services to adolescents affected by mental health issues in order to support progress towards their goals at home and at school. Throughout college, Laura volunteered weekly with children on the autism spectrum, was a Presidential Research Scholar in the Psychology Department, and interned at Adolescent Consultation Services, Cambridge’s Juvenile Court Clinic.
Laura graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Classical Studies.
