The Tuesdays@TPI Forums provide a national audience the opportunity to participate in substantive debate on important issues that are having a profound impact on philanthropy and on society. These open forums are free, interactive programs that grew out of Peter Karoff's writings and feedback from participants at our donor learning seminars. Donors expressed a hunger for more opportunities to come together and discuss issues of mutual concern.
The goals for the series are to dig deeper into these issues, to generate and disseminate new ideas, and to provide a forum for peer exchange. Along with engaging a live audience and expert panel, the moderated discussion facilitates interaction among participants across the country through a Web stream and teleconferencing format that has included polling, Webchat and call-in questions. WGBH, Boston’s public broadcasting station, films and makes available to viewers a video of each session. To view, visit the WGBH Forum Web site and click on Philanthropy.
