Applicant Requirements
Appropriate Sectors -- Health and human services, arts and culture, environment and education sectors (within these sectors, TFS has a bias to fund nonprofits whose mission focuses on underserved populations who have historically lacked access to nontraditional capital)
Relevant Locations -- Organizations operating in the USA
Organizational Requirements
* Operates within the targeted sectors
* A proven business model and a strong record of serving its constituencies
* A long-standing base in its community with a committed board of trustees and advisors
* Organization must demonstrate an ability to repay the loan
* Organization's need for financing cannot, or is not, being met by traditional sources
