PRI Investment Fund
In addition to our advisory services, CAP provides a real time “laboratory” for foundations, families, individuals, and nonprofit organizations to partner in Program Related Investments (PRIs) with the level of risk appropriate to their mission through our Fund for Sustainability (TFS), which makes select PRIs targeting working capital and programmatic needs of nonprofits and social enterprises operating in the health and human services, arts and culture, environment and education sectors.
--- For Funders: CAP provides foundations, families and individuals the opportunity to utilize the expertise and experience of an intermediary in structuring and managing PRI investment by investing directly in its Fund for Sustainability (TFS), a special purpose investment program offered in partnership with the Calvert Social Investment Foundation. Once committed to a project, TFS underwrites that project and guarantees its capital commitment. From due diligence to funding - TFS mentors, monitors and holds accountable its funded projects and seeks, where appropriate, side-by-side grant dollars from relevant foundations or individuals whose capital can complement TFS’s investment. To learn more about making direct PRI investments through our Fund for Sustainability, please visit our site at www.tpi.org/thefund or contact us at: cap-tfs@tpi.org
--- For Nonprofits: CAP offers nonprofits and social enterprises the opportunity to apply for a working capital, low interest loan (PRI) through our Fund for Sustainability (TFS). Philanthropic organizations operating in the USA in the health and human services, arts and culture, environment and education sectors are eligible. Within these sectors, TFS has a bias to fund nonprofits whose mission focuses on underserved populations who have historically lacked access to nontraditional capital. To learn more about applying for a PRI with the Fund for Sustainability, please visit our site at www.tpi.org/thefund or contact us at: cap-tfs@tpi.org
