Our Services
The Center for Applied Philanthropy (CAP) is focused on helping philanthropic organizations move from conversation to implementation ofmore impactful philanthropic strategies. CAP pursues its mission by providing strategic advisory services to foundations, families, individuals, and nonprofit organizations - as practitioners grounded in the reality of making and managing program related investments. CAP draws on its own experience and that of its partners and networks. Through highly focused engagements, CAP provides foundations, families, individuals, and non-profit organizations a number of critical services including:
- Strategic Advisory Services
- Capital Raising and Syndication
- Tailored Workshops and Trainings
- Consolidations and Mergers
- A PRI Investment Fund
- Knowledge, Research and Field Building
We focus exclusively on the application of these services to real time and emergent needs. We prioritize knowledge transfer and skill building on each engagement, so clients can develop the necessary skills to seek, structure, and manage PRIs for themselves after an initial investment. We also partner with interested institutions and individuals to make select Program Related Investments (PRIs) through our Fund for Sustainability.
CAP is working in partnership with The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI), a nationally recognized expert in philanthropic advisory services whose services help individual donors, families, foundations, and corporations to research, design, implement and evaluate their philanthropic initiatives.
