The seminars below can be presented in one or two day sessions depending on the needs of your organization.
Strategic Philanthropy
A seminar for individual donors and trustees of family foundations who are new to philanthropy or planning to play a more proactive role in their giving. This highly interactive program provides participants with a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of strategic philanthropy and an opportunity to further develop their philanthropic goals and strategies.
The World We Want
A ground breaking seminar built on Peter Karoff’s new book which engages leaders in many fields, from philanthropy to business and government, in a group process to explore significant issues in their communities. The meetings include the creation of a community “balance sheet,” the open meeting process for generating ideas, and group exploration of next steps for collaborative action.
Family Philanthropy Succession
A one-day workshop for Trustees and Staff of family foundations who are grappling with a variety of issues, including how to engage the next generation, who to invite on board, and how to train new trustees. In addition to providing examples of successful succession to participants, the workshop allows time for discussing and designing individual succession plans.
Improving Results for Families and Children
A seminar for focused donors, trustees and staff to broaden and deepen their understanding about issues that affect outcomes for disadvantaged families and children. It provides the opportunity to learn from and share ideas with national experts and peers and learn about a range of effective and innovative approaches to making a difference. Through the seminar and extensive take-home materials, they gain knowledge about resources available to leverage and enhance their work.

A seminar for seasoned donors, trustees and senior foundation professionals who have a desire to explore far-reaching strategies for change. The seminar provides participants the opportunity to explore with each other and experts, the personal, organizational and community factors that promote or inhibit their ability to make a greater impact.
