New Models of Philanthropy

TPI observed its tenth anniversary by sponsoring a conference, Celebrating Effective Philanthropy: Impact of a Decade. One of the most inspiring events was the panel on "Models of Philanthropic Engagement in the New Millennium." Perhaps no aspect of the conference better illustrates both the sea change philanthropy experienced and the tremendous potential for social change it represented. As a result, this issue of Initiatives is devoted to a further exploration of the models presented that day.
