The Fund for Sustainability (TFS) is a special purpose investment program that deploys 'nontraditional' capital - structured as loans or program related investments (PRIs) - to drive more sustainable programmatic outcomes for nonprofit organizations. TFS' investments target critical working capital and programmatic expansion needs among nonprofits and social enterprises whose core focus is domestic health and human services, arts and culture, the environment or education. Within these sectors, TFS has a bias to fund nonprofits whose mission focuses on underserved populations who have historically lacked access to non-traditional forms of capital or philanthropic dollars.
