Remmer to speak at 100 Women in Hedge Funds event

On Wednesday, March 30th TPI President Ellen Remmer will participate in an educational panel at 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ (100WHF) fundraiser The Power of Philanthropy: A Celebration Benefit.  Remmer will speak about trends and opportunities in philanthropy, women in philanthropy and non-traditional approaches to making a social impact.  In addition to Remmer, panelists will include:

• Allyce Najimy, The Foundation to Be Named Later
• Marion Giliberti Barish, Bingham McCutchen LLC (moderator)

Founded in 2001, 100WHF is a global association serving over 10,000 alternative investment management investors and professionals.  100WHF members volunteer to make a difference in their industry and community through educational programming, professional leverage initiatives and philanthropy.  The Power of Philanthropy benefit precedes the 100WHF conference this fall, co-sponsored with the Stanford Social Innovation Review, which will be the first financial services conference in the world to donate all proceeds to philanthropy.
