Earlier this month TPI Founder, Peter Karoff, sat down with Santa Barbara Superintendent of Schools, Bill Cirone, on his show Schools of Thought.  Their discussion touched on a number of issues, including Peter’s background – how he entered the nonprofit world and the beliefs and values that led him to found TPI.   Below is some footage from the interview in which Peter discusses how values and passion help form a donor’s moral compass,  how everyone – not just the wealthy – can be a philanthropist and even small gifts can make a different, and the outlook that his students at the University of California, Santa Barbara seem to have on the world around them.
