Especially in these challenging times, donors are looking for new ways to increase their impact. Collaborations can create opportunities to build on the knowledge and experience of your peers, leverage your individual giving, and use the collective resources of all involved more efficiently.

While donor collaboration is not a new concept, more and more donors are coming to us for help in understanding and evaluating whether some form of collaboration might be right for them. Responding to this interest, TPI has invested in an effort to help broaden the field's understanding of collaboration. We are delighted to introduce two components of that work:

Primer on Donor Collaboration

Donor Collaboration: Power in Numbers is a sixteen page primer full of findings, advice and examples to help donors understand their options and compare various structures and approaches. A PDF version of the primer is now available free of charge here in the Resource section of TPI.org

Webinar on Donor Collaboration
May 21st at 1:00 - 2:00 EST

To help donors learn more about the “how to” and the potential of joining with other donors, TPI is hosted this free webinar.  TPI's Joanne Duhl discussed key concepts from TPI's recent primer on donor collaboratives with panelists from two foundations: Denise McGregor Armbrister, Executive Director of the Wachovia Regional Foundation and Nicole Chevalier, Program Director of the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation.

TPI is available for individualized advising to corporations, individuals, families and foundations who are ready to explore or invest themselves in donor collaboration.
To start a conversation or simply learn more, please contact Joanne Duhl at jduhl@tpi.org or (617) 338-2590.
