On February 7, 2012 Peter Karoff, founder of TPI, author, poet and renowned philanthropic advisor, presented at a breakfast hosted by The Boston Foundation and The Philanthropic Initiative. Peter's speech explored the dichotomy, the truths, and the falsehoods that exist for donors and foundations looking to advance both the art and science of their philanthropy.

In this speech, TPI Founder Peter Karoff discusses lessons learned in more than two decades in the field of strategic philanthropy and provides insight and advice for advisors moving forward.
