Liza Sutherland
As part of TPI’s Program staff, Liza Sutherland assists clients with the design and implementation of initiatives. Engagements include design and management of college access and success programs for corporate, family, and independent foundations; grants management; and various unique award programs. Liza also conducts research to support clients’ interests, including grantee surveys, research on social issues, and geographically-focused scans of nonprofit organizations and programs. Liza also assists clients with strategic planning and facilitation.
Prior to joining TPI, Liza worked as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research in the Federal Statistics Program. She worked on projects with the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), a program of the U.S. Department of Education. She is a 2004 graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
