Independent and Other Foundations
TPI provides assistance to many different types of foundations. In addition to our work with family, corporate, and community foundations, TPI's clients have included health conversion foundations, tobacco control foundations, and other independent foundations of various types.
Some foundations seeking assistance are just getting started, while others want to design a new programmatic initiative, address governance issues, or take a step back to reflect on what they've learned and refine their strategies. TPI has also partnered with national foundations such as the Kellogg Foundation, Ford Foundation and Annie E. Casey Foundation on efforts to promote effective philanthropy.
